Frog Lake

Frog Lake has been privately owned since it's homesteading in the 1800s. Today, as part of the Truckee Donner Land Trust's (TDLT) ambitious 3,000 acre public open space campaign to include the Frog Lake, Red Mountain and Carpenter Ridge acquisitions. Along with design partner SageModern, we worked with TDLT to put in place a plan to activate the public access of Frog Lake with new backcountry huts and a update to the 100 year old Eschenbach Stone House; all "off grid" at 7,600’. P|8 managed all aspects of the pre-construction including design, feasibility, entitlements, permitting and operations planning for the Frog Lake project.
