Sierra Lofts

Sierra Lofts is proposed to be a fully deed-restricted attainable housing development in the Town of Truckee, California, developed as a joint venture between Paradigm8 (P|8) and Blair Porteous of sagemodern.

The project has been selected to participate in the Town of Truckee's Homegrown Housing Program and, if approved, would be 100% deed-restricted for residents who live and work within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (TTUSD) boundary.

Sierra Lofts is intended to serve a segment of our community that is too often overlooked: households who earn too much to qualify for low-income housing programs, yet can't compete for market-rate homes in the communities where they work — our nurses, firefighters, teachers, and other essential workers. Every home would be deed-restricted, securing long-term attainability for this critical part of our local workforce.
